Song Shuran, Female, Ph.D., Professor, Doctoral supervisor. She is a reviewer of Journal of Agricultural Engineering, permanent senior member of Chinese Society of Agricultural Engineering, and vice president of Electrical Technology Research Association of Guangdong Higher Education.
She has been engaged in teaching and research related to agricultural engineering for a long time. The research area is the application of electronic information and computer technology in agriculture, precision spray and efficient spray technology. She has presided over the completion of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the proposal of the Guangdong Provincial People's Congress, the special sub-projects of scientific research in public welfare industries (agriculture), and participated in the completion of the 863 Program, international cooperation projects, the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province and the Science and Technology Plan of Guangdong Province. She has published more than 20 papers. Four invention patents have been authorized, and two enterprise standards have been written and issued. She won two first prizes and one third prize of Guangdong Agricultural Technology Promotion Award, one second prize and one third prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Award, one third prize of China Agricultural Science and Technology Award, and one second prize of Guangzhou Science and Technology Award. The research achievement constant pressure spray technology and equipment of mountain orchard pipe has reached the international advanced level through the appraisal of scientific and technological achievements in Guangdong Province.
She edited and co-edited 3 textbooks of Guangdong Higher Education Press. She won the second prize of the 6th Provincial Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award of Guangdong Province, the second prize of Teaching Reform Achievement Award of South China Agricultural University, the top ten teachers of undergraduate teaching and the famous teachers of SCAU. She has guided students to participate in electronic design competitions for many times, and her students have won the national first prize and the first prize of Guangdong competition area. The postgraduates under her guidance have also received the support of Special Fund for Science and Technology Innovation Cultivation of Guangdong University Students.
